Because retreat planning requires advance commitments for venue space, food and beverage minimums, gifts, materials, staffing, and other event expenses, all registrations are subject to the following cancellation policy.

More Than 90 Days Before Retreat

Refund of registration fee minus a $50 administrative fee.

​

61–90 Days Before Retreat

50% refund of retreat registration fee.

​

60 Days or Less Before Retreat

No refunds will be issued.

​

Registration Transfers

Registrations may be transferred to another guest if you are no longer able to attend. The original registrant is responsible for finding their replacement and must contact Carry-On Mahjong with the new guest’s name, email address, phone number, and any other requested registration information.

 

Carry-On Mahjong does not facilitate the sale or payment of transferred registrations. Any payment arrangements between the original registrant and the replacement guest are handled privately between those parties.

Once a registration has been transferred, the transfer is final and the original registrant is no longer entitled to a refund or credit.

Hotel reservations, airfare, and other travel arrangements are separate and must be changed directly with the appropriate provider.

Retreat Cancellation by Carry-On Mahjong

If Carry-On Mahjong cancels a retreat, all registration fees paid to Carry-On Mahjong will be refunded in full.

Carry-On Mahjong is not responsible for:

• Airfare

• Hotel reservations

• Travel expenses

• Travel insurance

• Other costs incurred by participants

Hotel Reservations

Hotel accommodations are booked separately and remain subject to the individual hotel’s cancellation policies.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment.
